Black Friday at The Body Shop – What to buy!

The Body Shop’s Black Friday deals are going on right through til the 29th November, so you’ve got a little more time to treat yourself and others this season. I’ve picked out all of my favourites at The Body shop that you can grab some 40% deals on this festive period!

All of the products featured here are vegan and completely cruelty free, and are products that have become part of my daily routine (this is not a sponsored post) I  just fancied sharing my favourites while you can get the best deals.

Fresh Nude Foundation & All-in-One Face Base

I’ve recently started using The Body Shop foundation & powder, and I cannot deny how much I love them. I have tried almost every high street foundation there is out there, and even a few high end ones (Urban Decay All Nighter, Clarins to name a few) and this is my favourite so far. I prefer liquid foundations to the more creamy ones as I feel like they blend better on my skin! The All-in-One Face Base can be used as a setting powder (which is what I use it for) or as a face base on its own. Both are £15, so with the 40% discount they are £9 each… bargain.

The Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser

My skin has been really problematic in the last few months, mainly because I haven’t been taken care of it. At all. I have combination skin, so it gets very oily at times, and can get really spotty if I don’t cleanse. I decided to try the Body Shop Tea Tree Cleanser as I have heard nothing but good things. So pleased I did, my skin has never felt so good and clear. It isn’t too harsh on your skin either, I am not coming out in dry patches either… (despite the fact it’s been winter for two months in Aberdeen so far). I use this in the shower in the morning, and as a face wash at the end of day and I love it. It makes cleansing easy. I top it off with the tea tree toner.

Amazonian Saviour

This is something new, I’ve never heard of it until the Aberdeen Blogger Event. The Amazonian Saviour multi-purpose balm can be used to brighten your tattoos, and to heal them. I’ve been using it to moisturise my current tattoos, and I’ll be giving it a go at healing my next tattoo (so i’ll update this when I do). It’s completely cruelty-free, 100% vegan and uses only 9 natural ingredients. With 40% off, it’s only £5.40. Considering you only need a teeny tiny bit to spread over your tattoos it’s pretty cost efficient!

Drops of Youth – Youth Fresh Emulsion

Drops of Youth isn’t included in the Black Friday sale, but I had to share this too as it’s become such a huge part of my daily routine. I use it twice a day to keep my skin nice and moisturised, once first thing in the morning and right before bed too. You need two pumps per use for full coverage all over my face. It’s an easy way to make sure you’re using SPF each day too!

The Body Shop always do incredible discounts throughout the festive period, and I’ve had my eye on their foundation for absolutely forever, I just wish I wasn’t on a spending ban.. 😩 The Foaming Cleanser also sounds super easy to use, so I’ll be looking into that when I have a bit of spare money too! 🙊
